Team

Founded and led by owner Amanda Gourgue in 2008, Meeting Revolution’s expertise includes a multidisciplinary team of content experts representing event and marketing services

Amanda Gourgue, Chief Meeting Revolutionist, aka "Owner" (she/her)

Amanda has over twenty years of experience in the hospitality and nonprofit industries. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel/Restaurant-Institutional Management from Johnson & Wales University, a Master’s of Business Administration degree with a focus in Sustainability from Antioch University New England, and a Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School.  She is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP).  Amanda has the honor of being the first CMP to receive a LEED AP.

She has consulted, presented, and written articles in the areas of marketing, corporate responsibility, healthy buildings, and event planning. In addition, she served on several committees to help create the APEX/ASTM Environmentally Sustainable Meeting Standards and the ISO 20121 Event Sustainability Management System Standards.  Amanda also served as an eight-year judge for the IMEX-GMIC Green Awards.

Alex Evans, Graphic Designer (she/her)

Alexandra Evans has over ten years of experience working within the design industry after completing a degree in Graphic Communication (Hons) at The Atrium, Glamorgan University. After graduating in 2009, Alex cut her teeth at several print houses, gaining valuable experience and a passion for all things printed. Fast forward eight years, and having worked in a variety of in-house design departments, Alex now specializes in bringing a consistent visual brand to life throughout all aspects of her clients' touchpoints, from their social media memes through to their printed marketing, ensuring that their message speaks clearly to their audience.

Chad Cipiti, Virtual Visionary (he/him)

Chad Cipiti is the owner of Chadwick Cipiti Studios.   He has been doing web development, design, and programming since 1995.  With specific expertise in PHP, ColdFusion, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and SQL, he has helped clients develop custom database-driven websites from conceptualization to design and implementation. Technology and design should help, not hinder, and be a critical, seamless, and error-free part of the organization. He strongly believes in using his skills to help social profit organizations further their goals by giving them the same high-quality product. When not nerding out, Chad loves scuba diving in warm tropical places and taking amazing photos.

Chezney Aubert, Assistant (she/her)

Chezney is a mother to two young children who keep her running all over the state for their various sports and activities. When she is not doing that, she is busy growing her career as a Supply Chain professional while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes here at Meeting Revolution. Chezney has a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and continued her education by receiving her APICS certification in the supply chain field. She has also taken many classes and attended several conventions related to sustainability, specifically the regulations behind that, so you can see she fits seamlessly with our focus here at MR.  Between juggling all those things on her plate, if she is to find a free minute, you would find her doing something “crafty” and creative, running outside (which seems to happen less these days), or binging a good show cuddled up with her cat.

Shoshanna Freedman, Graphic Designer (she/her)

Shoshanna Freedman enjoys long walks in nature, doodling on scraps of paper, and deep conversations with my cat. She has been a graphic designer for the last seven years and especially loves working in the outdoor industry. In addition to outdoor performance companies, she has worked for natural food, non-profit, and software brands. One of her favorite things about design is learning and adapting to new industries and brand aesthetics. She is a sucker for design that’s not afraid to have fun and plays in the world of whimsy. Let’s work together and make something great!
